My pure melee build (conqueror), your opinion please:)
Ok here is my conqueror build:
http://www.titancalc.com/TitanCalc.a...-6-0-0-0-6-0-0
After reading some suggestions here I tried to max out the Adrenaline tree especially Resilience, but it don't procs that much for me, so I respeced and put only 1 point on each skill of that tree, and I'm happy.
Colossus form is powerful enough with 1 point on it and in my opinion to put more points is a waste, same with the Battle Rage line; I skipped Batter to maximize Pulverize, because I prefer passive skills; but with this build I still have plenty of points remaining and the next thing I'll consider is the Batter line;
I'm lvl 42 now and almost passed Epic, for most part of Epic it's rather easy, only that certain unique monster (such as the one under the cave near Fanyum oasis) can kill me with one hit. I assume thats because I lack certain resistance, I appreciate if you can tell me what specific resistance I need for these mosters. Also, tell me your opinion about my build, thanks ^_^

Hi abakus,
first of all, im not a conquerer pro.
Currently hitting lvl 20 so this is more some thoughts and questions than anything else.
One important question is:
What do you do when surrounded by multiple enemies ?
i intended tu skill warwind as well as at least some anchestral horn - wrong idea ?
at lvl 20 war wind seems to be a must have - but maybe i lack some of the higher def skills (def mastery still at lvl 5 yet)
any thoughts on this ?
Btw i think im also short on dmg (and on equipment
- especially in boss fights - 107 dps currently...
Will have to do some ramses tomb runs on end of chapter 2 im afraid...

I think you're missing out by not putting points in the Batter/Rend Armor lineup. This line helps with crowd control, particularly at high levels where Batter can slow up to three opponents at a time to 50% of their normal speed for 8 seconds.
I've also found Shield Charge to be useful. Although it only stuns for 1 second, combining it with Shield Batter works well. With Disruption, Shield Charge will temporarily disable up to 3 opponents. Charge in, stun them, slam them with a Shield Batter. Although in some cases you're better of not charging and instead taking a zig-zag approach. If you Shield Charge a wizard who is currently blasting you, you will take a lot of damage, if you zig-zag in, they won't touch you if you're careful.
Now what to take out in order to place them in Shield Charge and Shield Batter? That's a toughie. Everything you've got on your build is useful. I'd probably take it out of Quick Recovery. I use Quick Recovery myself and I think it helps a bit, but not near as much as Charge or Batter. Although if you try the build as is, I'd be interested to see with Quick Recovery maxed out if you feel like you get a considerable improvement on blocking or if it's just marginal.

Thanks guys.
To DocSnuggle: Although I don't have warwind, the tier 6 defensive skill Pulverize is proven very helpful agains multiple enemies. It's a passive skill which procs 16% of the time, and when it procs it does more than double normal damage, so in most occation thats instant kill. I personally don't like horn kill because THQ made these active skill awkward to use.
To ydejin: you are right, now I'm lvl 46 in legendary and I found crowd conrol an absolutly must. Currntly I use Battle Standard for crowd control, but by using it I sacrefise hit and run versatility, and in a lot of situations that could be deadly. Maxed Quick Recovery is quite helpful IMO, because it increase duration and also provide 5% damage resistance, if I m surrounded by mobs,it makes a big difference.

At the moment my 37 conqueror has no problem surviving. I have 4 or 6/12 in shield charge and maxed out disruption. I just charge in, than finnish mobs off with normal attacks (and all the sick passive procs from defense), while my energy bar fills up. And if i am at half mana or less i smash my rally button.
Also seems that every time i get hit by multiple foes, adrenaline kicks in => nice hp regen. You should really put more points in resilience..
Also try to max out the whole passive line in defense, that kills loads of mobs. (shield smash/disable/pulverize)
Put at least one point in every skill wich is in battle rage line. The more procs the better.
ps: you use maces? If not, concussive blow is not needed.
