Cant play online?

Hey guys so i played Titan Quest for a few days now on single player and after beating it i wanna try multiplayer. However, when i select multiplayer and click "start" all that happens is my character refreshes but it dosent take me to the list of available games. I tryed to update the game but whenever i clock on the "update" button my screen kinda just flashes and nothing happens. I am able to host a game online though. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Steam's invite doesn't work.

I'd suggest doing some reading over in the Technical Issues forum. There are several threads there dealing with multiplay problems. I don't take part in multiplayer games so I can't help you with specifics, but hopefully the info in those Technical Issues threads can point you in the right direction. Good luck.
