Thread: Named/Set items question

    Named/Set items question

    I was wondering how named/set items are created in TQ. After the horrible, horrible loot spawning system of D3 where you could play for hours and never see a good item drop, how does this compare to TQ?

    I have owned TQ and started playing it for years, but never stuck with it til now. I have now completed Act 1 normal and have filled up my vault slots with named/set gear that I have no idea if is any good for other possible chars I may make. Is there a guide to identifying stuff to keep?

    Also, is there perhaps a mod that increases storage space?

    purple items are usually good, you just have to put them on a certain character
    blues are like half crap half good, the good ones are obviously harder to find
    sets don't worth completing, i was playing for like a year and never completed one, trading can help you with that but i still think there are a very few that actually worth it.

    Thanks for the tips. That mod sure looks like what I'm after. Looking forward to installing it.

    TQ Vault is a must have mod, it's very refreshing to have access to infinite storage space. Just put every item you are not sure of into a vault, and when you get better at judging items you'll know what to throw away.

    The item rarity system is similar to that of Diablo:
    Diablo ==> TQ
    Magic ==> Magic
    Rare ==> Rare
    Legendary ==> Epic & Legendary

    Thanks, got TQ Vault working last night and it's an awesome mod. I was wondering if there are any other must have mods for TQ, other than the fan patch of course?

    TQ Defiler comes with a collection of mods. Most are focused around cheating, but the RNG fix and Slow Casting bug fix are recommended ones (and not cheating either).
    Defiler comes with a description of each mod, download it for more information.

    Also the TQCollector which is an easy way to see all the special items in the game you can collect/have collected. Also gives you info on where and from what Bosses/Monsters some items drop as they are Act or Monster specific.
