    Restoring the original loading shield

    Hello,

First, let me say how incredible this community is. All the patches & tools you've created have turned Titan Quest into the best ARPG in existence & one of the best games, period.

    Thank you VERY much.

Now, on to the topic. After the fantastic job Elfe did on restoring the original title screen, I was wondering if it's possible to restore the original loading shield in the lower right corner.

Sure, it's motif has more to do with the expansion, what it being in Hades & all that, but it's freakin' UGLY. The original shield with the Pegasus has more to do with the rest of the game & it's much more appealing to the eye, elegant in its simplicity.

Would you believe that it's my ONLY gripe with the game? Just goes to show how perfect everything else is, in no small part thanks to you guys.

    Cheers!

    /Sorry for doubleposting\

Here it is: Simply extract the InGameUI folter to your installationsfolder of TQIT into the database folder (example: C:\Programs\THQ\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\Database extract it here).

Outstanding! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! The original shield has a much more epic look than the over-the-top death skull of the expansion.

I now have a PERFECT game installed on my computer. I actually like this game so much, I tracked down the original big boxes with the talent trees & the manuals & bought them new. Too bad I couldn't register them with THQ to get the unlock rewards, as registration isn't working anymore, but hey...

Final (tiny) gripe: this probably isn't possible, or you would've done it already, but can the lighting in the Immortal Throne title screen be turned off to what it was in the original? It's fine the way it is, but I just thought I'd ask.

Once again, thank you very much, Elfe. I truly appreciate what you've done.

And of course, another big thanks to everyone who worked on the mods, tools & patches that make this game what it is today... a masterpiece.

    Cheers!

Your welcome . The lighting? How do you mean that? I think it is possible, just don't understand fully what you mean.

The Immortal Throne character screen has a "backlight" for a glow effect that isn't present in the original. You can see it by starting one & then the other, I'm sure you'll see it instantly. It's the only difference, your custom screen is pretty much perfect otherwise.

    Cheers!

The light seems to be hard coded in the exe file or set in the menu msh. I'm not used with Mesh/Texture working, so I couldn't manage how to change it, sorry!

After playing around with the options, it seems to be the bloom from the Advanced Effects option. I checked it out & it's gone.

    Sorry about that...
