Well, I am ready I think. We all just need to get together to get this thing started. The best times for me are morning and evening, for the time being.
The only one thing that bothers me is that I have been trying to join other peoples' games this past week, and have not been able to. I think I set up my windows firewall exceptions properly, but I had better ask about this now!
Do I have to have a client program (ie Hamachi, etc)... dunno really what else it could be.

Well, after a half hour of trying, NM and I cannot seem to connect. Anyone have any thoughts about why I cannot join another game.
Possibly something with Norton? I sifted thru the menus but nothing stood out to me.

EDIT: Tried a complete reinstall and repatch to 1.17, still no joy. Fustrating.

Unfortunately I have no idea. Maybe try resetting your router/modem, or at least temporarily disabling norton, or even just restarting your PC might help?

A tip, use something like Tuungle. It's ridiculously easy to use, and it stops any connection problems with the game, I tend to use that now when looking for people to play with... and everyone on their uses 1.17.

At this point, I am confident it is the Hotel's system that is not letting me do the internet game thang. So, you guys can go ahead, it will be at least a week, maybe Aug or even Sept 1 before I get settled into an apartment in town.

Sooooo annoying - can't use google maps, can't stream anything (no torrents allowed, etc)

Alright essjayehm. Maybe we'll just have you join us on one of your existing characters or something since you seem to have a wide range of them. Nightmare I tried looking for your Steam but had no luck. Can you link your Steam profile URL? Also how do I contact this JerryM you said who also wants to play?
