You can find legendaries from anything, but some are specific to one Act. Bosses are good for farming because they drop so many items with a higher chance of something good.

There is a spreadsheet somewhere on this forum with the droprate of each boss, and also one with the droplocation of each item. I don't remember their names, but can look it up tonight after work

Yesterday I got to Hades for the first time, since I'm a new player. I farmed normal Hades two more times and he dropped the Overlord both times. I could only carry one Overlord though.

Funny thing, I thought Toxeus would be really nasty, but instead I killed him in 3 seconds with my Harbinger.

You haven't met the real Toxeus yet The one in the secret passage is only his little twin brother

The only time you can't get another Overlord is if one is already in your inventory. In that case, it can still drop - you just can't pick it up. But the game will not "remember" that you once had one, nor will it prevent it from dropping. Even if you have one already, it can still drop.

You get the same problem with the Key of the Warden of Souls; if you have one in the inventory it'll drop but you can't pick it up. It may be the same for all quest items, but I've only ever noticed it with the Key and the Overlord. But you can put them in the TQVault and then that character could pick them up again.

It's crazy, but I got an Overlord on my very first Hades run! Now I'm farming like crazy with it!

Well done and very lucky sroy71. I must admit I've not had too much trouble in getting Hades to drop one for me, usually only after a few runs. Getting hold of some Bratchos' Greaves though - that's another matter entirely (sigh).

Yeah those greaves have so good DA that you can't catch them. Naughty greaves :P
