are you using dual wield? cos if so that would be the reason dual wield uses energy as well

Neither do Dual Wield attacks.
Onslaught appears to use more energy than the listed figure. As near as I can figure, it uses 3 per hit. But whether it's 1 or 3 or 4, it's not enough for the skill to drain your blue bar quickly. If it uses slightly more than listed, just pop a pot occasionally or get some energy leech.

There was a discussion about why that is over on the German forums, but I can't remember what the outcome was (if there was one...) I'll have to check sometime...

Well thanks for the replies, iv been playing a bit and noticed when im at max energy, the numbers are like this. One hit can take anywhere from 1-5 Energy, and its always random for some reason.
