    D2I and Lilith and Soulvizier

    1. Is the D2L version stuffed with all the quests/bosses/items or is it only the masteries?

    2. Does it conflict with Soulvizier? I like the ul/sv items/affixes/souls/recipes/etc.
I can only hope to improve...

D2I over UL has worked for people so far, but I predict that many of SV's new items would not drop.

Being UL with additions, SoulVizier is also a hard mod for all I know. That means when D2I's files are being loaded (around 10.000 of them as of late), they will replace the existing ones wherever they clash.
So basically, the reason why UL/AV do not cause any problems is that there is little left of anything they do.

You will still have the new parts of the map, and everything that happens there. Also new and changed NPCs on the regular part (where I didn't change them), some extra bosses (where i did not use the proxies) and the ability to see and use any new UL/SV specific items your char already owns. They will not break or anything.
But, with every TQIT monster and boss loot table being replaced by their D2I versions, you are not likely to find any more of them.

    EDIT:
That would be different if one was to ModMerge a soft version of SV with D2I. In that case, files would be combined instead of replaced, meaning blank spaces in the priority file would still be filled with entries from the one that is being "overwritten".
The result might be messy, but in most cased that should yield D2I balanced enemies with soul drops.

As for D2 Lilith, there is only one (secret) quest you cannot do.
In turn, some bosses which would be grim/hell exclusive show up much sooner.

Well, good news - souls do drop !
some of the +1 to skills doesn't work, but all other bonuses do.

How does one do a modmerge since i just want D2 + SOUL and not D2 + Lilith + Soul.
Or could someone plz make a d2+soul modmerged version ?

Like I said, one would need a "soft" version of SV mod, which is basically the changes in separate files rather than an already modified game database.

Since all the souls and things related to them are changes that are actually new to SV rather than previously existing UL stuff, having Amgoz' new files should suffice.
Then you could merge D2I over those, and souls would be added to monsters wherever the respective equipment slots are not already filled with something.

There has been a request in the SV forum, IIRC.

Has anybody successfully merged these three great mods? Any plans on doing so?

    Thanks in advance,

I'm actually working on that one. Adding some SV monsters to D2 Lilith, as well as adding souls to it. Probably several weeks to 1 month away from a working version (got other projects at the moment to work on).

    Hi wulf0420,

Do you plan on adding the database from Underlord as well (Mythic items, etc.)?
