Humm you can try sapros with a ring socketed with legendary monkey king trickery, pretty deadly combo.

What leads you to believe that Sapros and/or Monkey King's Trickery deliver elemental damage?

12 Reduced Resistance For 4 Seconds
    6% Elemental Resistance
    36% Skill Disruption Protection
    Completed Relic Bonus: Random Effect

198 Poison Damage Over 6 Seconds
    +72% Life Leech
16% of Attack Damage Converted to Health
70 Reduced Armor For 3 Seconds
63 Reduced Resistance For 3 Seconds
    21% Elemental Resistance
    +42% Energy Regeneration

    wrong?

Yeah your wrong! It's written nowhere that it reduces elemental resistance only as you seem to believe. There are skills that reduce % elemental resistance, % damage resistance. Sapros, MKT, Shen nong reduces all resistances!

He means that there are other resistances besides the ones you see in the character page. Physical resistance is one of these, and yes, Sapros also affects it.

    Alright thx,

    any other good item combos?

I like Iris + Aionios + 2*Adroit Loop, that's what my Conqueror had in the end. Aionios is purely defensive, though.

I think killing speed comes down to toon more than an item combo. When my Harb got Sapros, his killing speed was much the same as before. It's just that I could now stun and leech better off bosses. My Templar has Thorny and I wouldn't classify him as a fast boss killer.

Generally, there are no purples that radically outperform good greens imo. If you can find a good dual affix green (two if you're a dual wielder) and socket them with Achilles, you won't notice much if any difference when switching to ostensibly godly purples. At that point, the differences become incremental.
