I've been playing this game for 2 weeks now without any problems and I find it very interesting (lvl 34). But when I tried to play this morning, it crashed before the main menu appeared, I could hear the main menu sound but as soon as it appeared (lasted mebbe 0.3 seconds), it crashed to desktop. help!
my specs:
intel pentium 3.2
ati radeon 9600 256MB
3 GB RAM
SoundMax integrated audio
try running as admin or running in compatibility if that doesnt work go to task manager and see if the iexplorer.exe process is running if you dont have the internet browser open
sometimes for some reason every now and again this process wont end when you close the internet and can cause problems with using other programs so youll have to use task manager to end it manually
other then that no idea what else you can do

I noticed the same problem with titan quest game too cuz i have both (the first one is with immortal throne). nothing seems to help, i even tried to run the game with dx9 command line. I'll try reinstalling it and see what the problem is.
Try to use defiler to disable the intro cinematic. If it crashes the first time go in task manager and see if the process is still running and end it then try starting the game again.
