On first playthrough, I resemble your brother Irma2, I also like to play without any knowledge of what's up ahead and to me, learning is the most fun part of these games. However, once I clear the game or get to the moment I can't proceed or my char seems to fall behind, then I look it up on the net. Then I proceed with absorbing all of the available knowledge
Kalanor The Diviner (C) / Konstatine the Dreamkiller (L) / Lucario the Bone Charmer (L) / Kratos the Slayer (E) / Selena the Corsair (N) / Tarkus the Templar (N) / Ferrus the Champion (N) / Lilu the Stormcaller (N) / Rox the Battlemage (N) / Mileena the Avenger (N) / Zolo the Hunter (N)

    I'm like you Irma2.

I love not knowing plot outcomes or puzzle solutions, but I hate that feeling when you start up a game and don't really know if you're gonna die or fail because you're just not good at the game yet and don't know what everything means. Good games (and reading up on game-knowledge like you said) help me push past that.

I get that. Using a skill to improve it is a cool idea, and it worked in Dungeon Siege I and II. I wasn't feeling it in the Elder Scrolls games though.

I'm like Asheron. First time through, always play through myself without outside help, unless I'm REALLY stuck. After the first or first few times through, I have no problem googling/gamefaqsing methods of min-maxing. I swear, some games were meant to be gamefaqsed (post games in jRPGs for instance)

I like the Elder Scrolls system, but grinding can be kind of stupid. I'll just jump on the spot, or hold down the sneak button while having a snack in order to get stronger. A system like that can be cool if you have some sort of honour system, and if the pacing is fine.

Anyone play Final Fantasy 2? I die too fast, I'm going to attack myself to get stronger... Though that does strangely make sense

Can i imagine?Yes! in fact i don't only imagine i have actually done it myself LMAO.It was very long time ago i think maybe was at year 2008.My first character was a hunter(forgot about second class).I was using marksmanship in hotkey 1 almost for the entire normal difficulty!!!

BTW:Even though i don't post often but i am lurking in this forum for a very long time and found this site very helpful(So thanks guys for making this game much more enjoyable to me) .One of reason i dont post often is that my English is very very poor ((

Okay this thread has become cluttered with deleted posts thanks to johnn9977's apparent incompetence and Irma's (unusual) lack of patience. I have resolved this, but urge you lot to remain calm and no more internet badassery is required.

    Thank you for your co-operation.
