Ice Arrow skill requirement for Frozen Arrows?

How do I get the Ice Arrow skill? Is that provided via a weapon? Just starting to play this and was looking at Prophecy mastery and not sure whether to pick it now (level 2) or pick another mastery first. Thx!

Hey argel,

Altough Icy Arrow is on tier 3 and Frozen Shot on tier 1, the former is required for the latter. So by investing 10 points into the Prophecy mastery, you effectively unlock both at once. There are several other skills working like this, and i have to admit, its not always clear, which skill modifies which one. I even consider this the greatest design-mistake in the mod, but its something typical for the mod, and changing it would be rather inefficient...i was damn sure, changing the order in which skills get available to enable the player to pick a skill and its modifier at the same stage was a good idea, but this seems to be misunderstood pretty often
Icy Arrow is a self-buff, comparable to Earth Enchantment in vanilla TQ, only with restriction to bows. Prophecy is a ranger-supporter hybrid, and the only mastery specialized on bows, so if youre about to play a ranger, pick it.

BTW, your set of masteries look like a lot of fun. Tempted to do a run through the game with them!
