sanctuary of the bloodborn

so, made it as far as the rebirth fountain in the sanctuary of the bloodborn, now, however, I cannot seem to cross the bridge on the east side of the first platform. My character just will not move onto this bridge. Am I missing an artifact or key of some kind or is it a glitch in the way I downloaded the program?

I believe this glitch is caused by a problem with some corrupt files in the installer version. To fix this you should download the full manual version and replace the data and resource files with those from the manual file. This worked for me, so hope it helps.
