Pulverize is a great skill and you should rush it. If you want you can pull out 4 points from it and place them in 1/1 Batter/Rend Armor and 1/1 Shield Charge/Disruption. That'll give you good multi-target damage and you can max pulverize again after that.

Build looks great for me, the only thing I'd add right away is a point each in Shield Charge and its synergy. After that, I'd put a point into each of the Art of the Hunt skills, followed by a point into each of the Battle Awareness skills. I'd also put a point into Colossus Form and Exploit Weakness for boss fights and also max out Volley asap.

In terms of gear, don't be too hasty to wear uniques. There are many low-level blues which aren't very good. The Babylonian and Obsidian sets fall into this category. They're great for Act I Normal but fall off quite rapidly after that. Instead, look for good greens at the vendors.

At this point, I'd be looking for a Juggernaut's torso armour and, as you are now in Act III, you will also be able to find Hallowed helms and Divine amulets from the vendors. Getting +1 or +2 to all skills will help the build greatly. For your other armour and jewelry slots, try to find Hale items. For weapon, any good green dual affix spear will do. Try to get Relentless/Veteran's/Murderous of Feasting/Speed/Devastation. If you have three spare Achilles relics, socket them directly into the spear to get +% damage as the completion bonus. Do the same with five Raptor Tooth charms and your amulet, or three Herakles relics and any armour item.

Late Normal is about managing mobs effectively. You can't get enough skill points, armour or resistances at this point to play recklessly and still survive. For melee mobs, it's a case of approaching with circumspection, dividing the enemy and drawing only a couple of them away from the main mob. Deal with them, rinse and repeat. Charging into a large mob will see you overwhelmed quickly and regularly.

For archers and caster foes, it's a question of target prioritisation and acquisition. Pick out the champion or the most dangerous caster (like the purple Dragonian mage among the trash brown melee variants) and Shield Charge it. Make sure that you eliminate it first before turning your attention to the other attackers.

Bottom line: slow down a bit, use a more tactical approach, divide and conquer the mobs, avoid taking on more than two or three foes at a time. If you get these basics right, you should breeze through Acts III and IV, even with sub-optimal gear.

Batter and Shield Charge do not proc shield passives... they are shield attacks themselves!
IMO, Pulverize and Volley will be your best "attack skills"... so you shouldn't be having a lot of damage issues.... but defensively you will need to keep your armour values up (looks good for now), decent Defensive Ability (350-500 for Act 3) and Pierce Resistance (40+).
IMO, you must swap out that Obsidian crap now, and your rings should be focusing on resistances, not attributes (you will want some Hale jewellery, eventually... but not right now). Look for Veteran's or Honour Guard's torso armour, bracers with "... of Haste" and use some of your charms/relics in the "normal" armour to fill in any gaps in resistances that you have. Generally (for now), 20% elemental and poison are good for mobs, but you also may want some swap-out gear for monsters with particular devastating attacks (ie 80% Fire vs. Yaoguai)
Your skills look OK to me... but so does The Fallen One's... so don't fret too much there... skills suit the playstyle and vice versa. Most importantly, keep BOTH your weapon and shield damage "up to date"... typically when I start seeing items with 30-50% more damage than the one I have, I focus on swapping out that item (but looking to keep the same affixes).

    Hope that helps some more!
