Spears and Disable? Has it been fixed?

Okay so a few days ago I found out about Titan's Quest, how I missed such an AWESOME game for all this time I have no idea especially since I played similar arpgs such as Dungeon Siege 1/2, Tourchlight, Sacred 1/2, Loki and Nox...

Anyways... I've started playing and since I like to read a lot I decided to make a decent warden build.

But so far in all the guide and tips I see it's stated that Disable and Spears don't work together. Now I can't find the answer to question. Has this been fixed in the patches or fan patches? Or is it intended not to work with Spears?

I have never read that before, what kind of guides are you reading?
You should read Poinas' Guide for All Skills, that one is of high quality and with no mistakes.

Disable and spears bug has been fixed since 1.20 TQ patch. So if you have Immortal Throne it should work.
