Thread: Uber Heroes - Names, Pictures and Locations!

Uber Heroes - Names, Pictures and Locations!

Now that Soul Vizier has it's own forum section I think it's safe to say it will become a released mod.

The purpose of this thread is to collect information about Uber hero monsters, as the title says.

    • Act I
      A. Melalos, Lord of Decay - Zombie
      B. Stormbird - Crow / Beast
      C. Elephantsnatcher - GIGANTIC Bat
      D. Rakanizeus - Satyr
      E. Kaublasia, Fire Aspect - Gorgon
    • Act II
      A. Grimshell - Giant Beetle
      B. Phagia - Magical
    • Act III
      A. Palaimonatus - Sepulcher Wyrm
      B. Xiewang - Flame of Hatred
    • Act IV
      A. Blood Crow - Demon
      B. Meglograi, the Hag - Demon - Keres

I'm looking for input on locations found commonly, since I know the proxies are based on chance, they can appear in different locations throughout the act in which they are based. The uber bosses themselves are based in proxies that may or may not conform to their creature type.

    Feel free to contribute!

Update: Added another A3 uber hero. Thanks

I've collected the majority of Underlord Mythic Recipes. You can see this list in a spoiler posted here.

There's a carrion bird called Stormbird in Act 1. I've seen it in two places. Once was North out of Megara, through the undead area, and then all the way to the left where the crows and harpies spawn. The other place, where I've found it twice, I think, was outside Ino's cave. No soul drop though.

Yes, Rakanizeus is a satyr. I have seen him in the Laconia Hills (before Sparta!), just past Sparta in the same area as Aniketos the Sacrificer, and on the road to Delphi (twice).

I just fought it today... I'm on the island before the maze. I think I could farm it there.

Now that Soul Vizier has it's own forum
Lol, what is this? "Big Mods"?
And those are Lilith... and SV?

So Underlord alone, with its new map parts and stuff is small? And D2I, which rewrites all the internal scaling, and every single monster, is just a mastery mod?

What exactly makes a mod "big"? The amount of items?

Sorry about the OT rant. It should not be an issue... but if you are going to publicly classify everybody's works like that, you could be a bit more thoughtful about it.

    That post is pointless, Violos.

I was asked to wait until this mod got it's own forum section to post this stuff: so I did.

So what you would call a big mod, is something that rewrites the internal scaling as you put it, and then make it even worse, into a slow and more boring version than the normal TQ? Just because you spent a lot of time reworking the game, to an even worse state, and horrible looking graphics shouldn't make a mod big either.

SV so far has a pretty big playerbase for what i can see, maybe even larger than yours already, and i'm pretty sure yours have been up for way longer, that should also have an effect of when you can call a mod big or not.

Also what exactly are you ranting about, it's not even sure that he asked for his own forum, this guy just says the mod is big and you suddenly go on some random jealousy rampage or what the hell. Ranting about how people call other mods big, that you might not think have changed the integrity of TQ, well just changing a lot of stuff and making it worse, doesn't make a mod big either. The amount of players interested in the mod, and talking about it, is what determines if a mod is big or not.

So far what i can see, SV gives the game a quicker pace, more monsters, more loot to get, extremely challenging, and people like that. So it has a bigger playerbase.

And why exactly are you 'ranting', though i'd rather call it whining.

It was OT, yeah. But the point should be easy to see. It's just so weird.

Anyway - I didn't say you did this. I'll take it somewhere else.
    Happy collecting.

    P.S.
    @ epk, whoever you are

Dude. That kind of shit talk is exactly why it's weird.
Nobody cares what you like better or how many players there are, which btw. is impossible to tell. Just like it is hard to quantify all the different changes. And if you went by the amount of discussion, the "size" would change every week.

The point is, the whole "mine is bigger than yours" discussion should not come up. Nor should any antics in that directiion, intended or not.
Because last time I checked, the modders themselves were respecting and sharing each other's work, and doing just fine without having fanboys like you insult anyone or wage flame wars about who did what.

This isn't a mastery mod, so it got classified under something else, calling it "big" simply means that it is not something simple like a potion stack mod or similar.

I don't know who came up with the classification and I frankly don't care.
If you feel that it is unfair talk to a mod instead of posting it here.

    Yeah, I figured.
Sorry - bringing that to further attention obviously was not the best idea.
