The ready-made merge now consists of D2I 1.62 over Fast Lilith.
Changelog for in 1.60 -> 1.62
GENERAL
- Fixed strength requirements on class gear (among others)
- Reworked Conviction to avoid self-debuffing
- Critical Hit and Amazon passives now support elemental damage
- Some corrections/edits to the text files
- Reworked Cloak of Shadows to not draw aggro
- Reworked Venom as a non-exclusive buff
- Added new items and bosses
- Created a definitive Staff Attack animation
- Adjusted stat point rewards on Invocation quest
LILITH SPECIFIC
- Fixed Chamoos #10 scroll drops
- Fixed number of Coldworms
- Removed chance of not receiving the normal Redfury helm
- Changed substitute spawns for Blood Raven
- Fixed the Evil Shield's (not) granted skill
Again, Dropbox may reach a limit, but ModDB and 4Fansites mirrors should be up soon.

I must admit I have never played through all of it myself, at least not with one char. Had a very fun 2-player run with a friend (a female Barbarian, with me as the War Mage above) but that is kind of on hold since he moved.
Looking forward to hearing of your progress.
Oh, and keep an eye out for any remaining bugs (that are not intrinsic to Lilith) or monsters that could use a makeover. - While you will notice numerous changes, many of them are still the ones from Lilith, with only some D2I-like tweaks in their skills, gear and AI.
Between the Path of the Dead, the Graveyard, the Level of the Dead and the Haunted Forest, a few points in Sanctuary can be very useful early on.

Clegclaw is an Amazon, im a Barbarian, that place isn't overly difficult the most annoying part is the bloody fog that makes it hard to see and easy to get lost ---oh wait just had a closer look, we are heading there now sorry, it's not overly hard (in SP) at least just gotta make good use of running away and using that pathway to split them up

fire sprite have lightening resis immune instead of fire, the ice dragonaires have both fire and ice immune resis

That is one of the major relics from the original Lilith: Most monsters still have their old resistances, which do not follow the 'common sense' rules of D2I. To the contrary, elemental creatures are often immune to their opposite rather than weak to it.
Changing them would involve manually changing all their names, though, so I left them as they were for the time being. You will just have to look at their name tags.
