1st time earth user

im have a lvl7 earth mage and b4 i lvl upto lvl8 im just woundering a few things.

wud going nature as a second mastery be a good idea or am i beter off with sumthing eles, keeping in mind id like 2 keep 2 using a staff and spells.

i have always used storm but thought its about time i tryed earth so any help with this mastery and wat i shud combine it with wud be fantastic

spirit will be a good choice as well as Ternion - Staff attack... and spirit will have a good summon as well - Outsider and Lich
Dream also will be a good choice .. Distortion Reality - one klick mob clearance... Or Distortion Wave for slow and damage..
I playing Dream quite a lot .. and it is my favourite Masteries.. But untill this, I only had playing melee type Dream..

Playing Style.. Phantom Strike to enter group of Mobs... then clear any other mobs with DR/TR .. 1 Sec those mobs go to heaven.. haha.. maybe any other veteran could give more opinion regarding masteries to compliment the EARTH

i have had a realy good look at the skills of all the masteries and have decided 2 try earth and dream out using DR/TR 2 whip out mobs if it gets 2 much but using distortion wave with the core dewller and a nice fire enchanted staff shud be a nice way 2 go and the trance aura that gives health regen and energy regen looks like a good 1 4 keeping both me and my pet alive

I've been playing TQ for about 5 years now, and my first character is just barely level 74 now after many, many Hades & other boss runs . I'd love to hit 75 with him someday, but his xp bar doesn't look like it's moved at all in the last month or so hehe. Your build has quite a bit of room for improvement too by the way. You only need 1 point in stone form, and 0-1 in molten rock, for example.

In response to your original question, I think nature is a great mastery to add to earth. Summoners can wreak a lot of havoc with the core dweller grabbing agro, and 3 wolves plus the nymph adding distraction and significant damage in epic & legendary. Heart of oak adds quite a bit of health, which pure casters are notoriously short of, plus 10% total speed. Plague is great for reducing resistances in boss fights .

thanks, i have 2 lvl75 guys 1 is spirit/dream and the other is storm and dream ( i realy like dream ) took 3 months 2 get from 74 to 75 its insane.

i myt have 2 guys going 1 earth/dream and the other earth/nature, thanks 4 all the help guys
