Basic item list and Than mechanics

    Hi all,
    My Questions:
    1) Is there a Data Base for basic items - stats of items and possible prefixes?
    2) I also would like to ask that in my planned build will secondary attacks from dual wild tree benefit from "Storm Nimbus" (such as "Dual Wield" "Cross Cut" "Tumulut") and from the "War wind" / "Lacarate" targets?µ

Why? (sorry for the wall of text and my english ...)
I am new in these forums and in the game too but i like to understand mechanics and options in a game before playing it ... so i lurked these forums for a time and found some great stuf but some pieces are still missing for a build i'll try now (this thane is the aim) (and no i really don't want too much actives for a first time play, neither to play as a warrior seen the concept on these forums and admire its style (; )
So first of all what i need is to know what stats are needed by basic items (i'll look for very fast swords wich i'll use and mage gear) we can find for unice and set items on the Data base of TQ where i found that Silence looks good for this build (if i wound one :S) but some basic random dagger migth even be better for it....still to look.
atribute wise i want to plan in advance to be able to wear the best gear for my build then we will see for the rest ... it should be : ~200-300 str, enougth dex to hit mostly, and the rest on Inteligence for damage bonus on Nimbus

From my experience, this would be a more viable Thane build
If you have enough +skills items, you can reduce skill points in Wisp, but I like to have lvl5 Wisp with AoE Stun.
Yes, Dual-Wield skills like Cross Cut and others apply Storm Nimbus damage.
I was lasy, so didn't use War Wind, had Onslaught on Left button, and Squall of RMB.

Even on Intelligence based thane Lightning Bolt isn't that effective, unless you just really like this spell.

About gear - legendary Sabertooth (green sword from Tigermen) requires 339 Str, 274 Dex.

Thunderbolt requires 331 Str, and grants some, so you can use some -requirements gear to equip it.

Thane, like all hybrids, can be a difficult character to build right. If you spread your attributes around to much, you will end up doing small bits of different damage types, instead of a good amount of a single damage type.
So my advice for a new player would be to go 1:1 strenght:dexterity in attributes and make physical damage your main focus. Elemental damage would then be used as a supporting damage type, but Storm has more to offer than just adding elemental damage to your weapons:
    • Squall is a good debuff against ranged monsters and also lowers physical resistance.
    • Spellbreaker kills some bosses outright, and can remove nasty buffs on monsters (like Onslaught charges).
    • Various sources of stun give you good crowd control.

For gear you would look to dual wield a club with high damage and a sword with fast attack speed. Look for +lightning or +cold damage on weapons or items as a bonus. Don't worry to much about what affixes are possible, all good things can appear in the inventory of shops. So sell all yellow and green items you find, and look periodically at what the shops have to offer.

As for your question about Storm Nimbus damage, it gets added to every attack you make with your weapons. This includes every attack from a skill, like War Wind. It does not get added to spells like Lightning Bolt.
There may be no 'I' in team, but there's a 'ME' if you look hard enough.

The thane probably isn't the best class to use lightning bolt effectively, but I am quite fond of it on a pure caster like an oracle. Even hybrids like the thane can find situations in which lightning bolt is quite useful. Spell attacks don't suffer from problems hitting projectile-avoiding mobs for one thing...
