Hey guys, very cool, entertaining and interesting posts! I appreciate the props from you both, Laurrrr & bonobo. And I was gonna target the Qs next, but Laurrrr beat me to it! Rats. I'll finish up the Zs and head onto another letter. And thanks for the MANbot search tip, bonobo. Good info. And good work, both of you! If more people would pitch in like this, we could clean up this joint in no time at all.

As for fast cars, hot chicks (or is it hot cars, fast chicks?) and exciting life, well...(cough, cough...ahem) let's just say I'm happy when I can access my email in under 30 minutes and get up out of bed without falling over! I reckon my days of fast living (what fast living?) and thrill-seeking are long gone. I'm spending my "retirement" here at the TQ forums...

Unfortunately, whilst I can find MANbots pretty quickly, finding sig and Home page bots is tougher, because there's more chance of accidentally finding actual legitimate members. I'll need to think of something.

By the way I'll be away as of tonight (7ish hours from now) until Sunday.

Use this link here to search for all people with a biography of "MAN" on the site, careful there may be a few real users there.

By the way I'm now going to clear out all 50 of the Y's, so by the time I'm done I'll have done Z, Y, X and W.

UPDATE: Y is cleared of MANbots.

What exactly are those MANbots and why do they all have that "Man" in their biography? I'd like to help, but I'm not really getting what specifics I should be hunting for...

If you go to a users profile and where it says "About Me" click that. You'll notice some stuff like Biography, Location, Occupation and Interests, which the user puts in themselves. Normally, this'd be like Location England, Occupation Student etc, but not for MANBots. Here's a typical MANBot example:

Bio: MAN
Location: Algeria
Occupation: MAN
Interests: Gdhhrdrdhr

Basically, they ALWAYS have MAN in their profiles About me page, and usually a spammy post or signature, home page, VMs etc. Currently on the site we have just under 4000 of these, all with 0 posts and last login on their join day. They join, make a profile, put a few links here and there then leave forever. Whilst they serve no harm, they also serve no purpose, so since they break site rules and/or clog up server space, we are currently clearing them (a ban means they are removed from searches and databases on site).
