    I'm fine... Actually, I just finished reading Roadside Picnic, a short science-fiction novel by Arkady & Boris Strugatsky, and it was a bit profound to say the least, particularly the ending. Had me sitting here, staring at my monitor screen for a bit, processing all that occurred in the story. Have you read this novel? I had a very tough time locating an English version, but Laurrrr found one for me. I highly recommend it. Even though it's now 5:15 a.m. here and I'm getting ready to hit the hay, I'll be awake for awhile as I think about this story...

    Not a book I've come across, I'm afraid.
    There is one series of books that I keep thinking of and I really should read again:-
    The Gap Series by Stephen Donaldson
    Bits of these books keep slipping into my mind even though it's been over 15 years since I read them...
