Just notice Irma that it takes a bit before you get that gear and that the skills can be always reduced at mystic.I find those additional skills in pets worth until you find the proper gear, you can then get rid of those addies at mystic.

Well, I kill with Warfare until I get the +skills gear. My Champ's sum total investment in Nature during Normal was 32 in the mastery, 1 in Heart of Oak. Warfare dual wielders don't really struggle to kill things at any stage of the game, especially if you're pumping Warfare skills in Normal and largely ignoring the second mastery.
Yep i tust you, however I am still a PETMANIAC.I never make a character that doesnt use any pets
.
What was your champion build at the end of normal Irma?
Pets are fine and they have their place - but Normal ain't that place. I can't think of any Nature build that is better off with Wolves in Normal than without. Champ gets Onslaught/BS/Dual Wield skills, Illusionist gets Traps, Ranger gets bow skills, Summoner gets Eruption & Plague, Druid gets Squall, LB/CL & Plague, Ritualist gets PI & Plague. Heck even a Soothie is better off going solo with Ternion & Plague.
The only build that arguably benefits a bit is Guardian. But that is only because Defense does horrible damage in late Normal and must wait for the Legendary shields before it hits its stride, both in terms of shield blocking % and damage. Plus the Guardian draws aggro to himself which saves the Wolves and helps them to last a bit longer.
Of course, you can get through Normal using only pets. But it's definitely the long way around.![]()
I can't remember exactly but it would have been something like this.
I may have ended Normal after level 40 due to farming for SBC or playing some X3 mod along the way, in which case any extra points would have gone into the Wolves in preparation for Epic. I do that with most Nature builds - investing in Wolves before the end of Normal, even if I don't use them. It's nice to be able to start Epic with at least one Wolf, and preferably two, as companions.
Thats why im experimenting champion lol X_X.Of course, you can get through Normal using only pets. But it's definitely the long way around.![]()
I wanted to check if the wolves with SI and BS can survive those wyrms and tigers, but first i have to sort out the aggro problem, because simply, the monsters love me more than my pets.
Wyrms and Tigermen aren't too bad. Typhon, Cerberus, Vindicators and Dactyls, on the other hand...
Hmm havent had problems with them in normal, surely those are dangerous in epic/legendary. Typhon however can be done quickly if you have a ranged pet.keep using the stairs so that typhon comes closer and goes away constanty while the nymph takes him down.
BTW
I HATE SHOPFARMING! GOSH I'VE BEEN VISITING ALL EGYPT SHOPS FOR 30 MINUTES NON STOP AND THERE WAS NOTHING FOR A WANDERER T_T JUST BLOODY HUNTING/ROGUE/DEFENSE SKILL ITEMZ -.-
- How did you find energy regen for it? Heart of the Oak drains 1 energy per second and Onslaught 1 energy per attack, with former disabling itself when you run out of energy. Coupled with some energy-using skills like War Wind and Doom Horn, I have hard time utilizing everything effectively.
