Thread: +fire/ice/cold/etc% damage, do it work on spells?

+fire/ice/cold/etc% damage, do it work on spells?

As the title says, I'm curious if items that for example give a +15% fire damage works on both my staff and my spells.

The same question can be be asked for the spell called "Volativity". It's the last spell on the earth three, and it gives me a 33% chance for an added 75% fire damage on level one.

The reason that I ask this is because I can see no increase in spell damage in my skill tree when I use items with +fire% damage.

    Thanks for any answers =)

If you have a staff that does fire damage and spells that do fire damage, the modifier should apply to both.

Didn't see any answers to this, still wondering about this question.

Anybody know whether this works? say an item that gives +20% cold damage, would that increase the damage of your ice-shards skill?

This has been asked and answered like a gazillion times already.

The answer is yes, they increase the damage of your skills.

I'm quite curious myself why I actually asked this question. Because after having searched the forums a bit, I think I might have found several dozens of threads asking just the same :P

Hey, I'm not attacking you :P. I'm the OP, so I can hardly blame you for anything :P
