Dug or feature in Dissemination in the most recent fanpatch?

Heya, I only just started my first Nature character a week ago and noticed that the first "jump" of Dissemination starts on my toon instead of my target. This is a problem if I wanted it to hit all my wolves when I'm in the back.

Is this behavior intentional or a bug?

Never noticed that myself, but whatever it is, it's not something from the fanpatch because they didn't touch that skill. (and if they did, they COULDN'T give the skill player priority)

Oh, I didn't mean I only noticed it AFTER the fanpatch or to imply I thought it was the patch. I've actually never played the game WITHOUT the fanpatch. I just meant that I happen to have the most recent fanpatch, and I'm seeing this behavior.

I figured, I'm just saying it's impossible for the fanpatch modders to put that in as a feature.

No, it's a bug. This can happen with secondary lightning skills.

Once you are aware of this, it's not so bad though. Just target the one furthest away with your heal, and stand closer to the others.

K, I'll just dealwithit.jpg. I'm in Act 3 so I have to be upfront with my pets anyway, taking aggro and applying Soften Metal. Thanks for the clarification.
