    Favorite Authors

    Hey there.

I have been reading through a lot of books lately (surprisingly) and I finnaly decided to make a new thread of this topic and stuff. So, here are the books I've been reading lately:

After Ever After by Jorden Sonnenblick 4/5
Kane Chronicles: Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan 5/5
Pendragon: The Merchant of Death by D.J. MacHale 4/5
The 13th Reality: The Journal of Curious Letters by Unknown N/A

By far, my favorite author would be Rick Riordan, who by the way wrote the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series. I'm kind of stuck on what to read. The 13th Reality is crap so far and I am already on chapter 8. Does anyone recommend any books? Please state the full name of the book, author, and rating you give it. Thanks.

I strongly recommend to anyone Perfume, by Patrick Süskind. It's an awesome and unique book that explores the sense of smell. I was a bit sceptic before reading it but I would easily give it a 5/5 rate. Really if you like books that have a style impossible to describe, this one is for you.

There is also a movie based on this novel, and I heard it was a very good adaptation of the spirit of the original book, but I think it's still a must to read.

I'll look into it. Thanks herodote. Oh, almost forgot:
    Contents may not include:
    Sexual content
    Nude pictures
    Bad language

Anyways, I'll look it up and see what this Parfume book is.

Edit: I looked up "Parfume" and in came up as Perfume. Typo in your post.

i would probably give it a 4.5 out of 5. not perfect, but pretty close, and one of the best book series i have ever read. it does have the occasional use of strong language, but its not overdone and always appropriate. im not even a big fan of sci-fi, but i love this collection. give it a read, you wont be disappointed.

I might be okay for a while. I just figured out Rick Riordan created a new book called "The Lost Hero". My mom immidiatly bought it for me and I'm already on chapter 5. Long chapters. Also, she bought me the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth. read it in less than 2 hours. 3.5/5. It was O.K. Not very sporty though
