The dual wield tree, onslaught and me

The dual wield tree and onslaught are sucking my energy dry. I'm gulping down potions left and right. Am I missing something here? Is there something I should be doing so I'm not gulping down energy potions every 5 sec?

    Ummm nope!

Are you rogue or warfare? Why is this in the rogue section? Are you an assassin? It's hard to determine why you're drinking so many pots, but using onslaught without having a good mana-providing class as a secondary mastery will drain you dry repeatedly, especially if you use a class like rogue which hogs up a ton of mana. (something like 150 reserved right?). If you ARE assassin, grab some points in energy, assassin's don't get a lot of energy and you'll need it.

You need energy leech in your weapon or/and artefact.
Shroud of Eternal Night is one of the best, if not the best, artefact thru Normal. You can also socket your weapon with Bat Fang with energy leech completion bonus.

Yes, sorry. Yea I have an assassin and I'm just going through energy like crazy. I'll look into some energy leeching equipments and relics as well as throwing a few points into my energy stat. Anything else?

You get effectively no regen as a melee toon if you have Envenom Weapon running, so that hurts too. In fact, you can go into negative regen where you are constantly losing energy due to having the aura up. If a Warlock takes Rogue first and gets EW and then Deathchill aura going soon after taking Spirit, whoa - better bring some blue pots to the party.

Assassin isn't as bad as Warlock but still - you have two non-energy non-Int masteries, a very low base pool, an aura that hogs energy regen, and skills that use a little energy which isn't being replenished.

Try putting one or two Hecate's Crescent relics on your jewellry to boose energy regen. That can make all the difference if you're borderline on going negative regen, and if you're still positive it'll help the regen speed.
