"I don't need a nicotine patch, Penny - I smoke cigarettes."
Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Mass Effect, MetaGalactica series
Read 1/4 of the book and my opinion so far it's that the book is so-so but made me kinda curios to read further so...marching further!
Today there was organized something we call Book Fest in our capital which was a...book...fest. Yeah, no shit. It was interesting...most of the books as far as I am aware were biographies of Romanian personalities, autobiographies, romantic books combined with hell knows what and history books. They were mainly new books written by wannabe "writers" and I didn't saw anything old. Maybe I didn't payed enough attention. But it was ok.

i could write here every week because i read a lot. since my last post i've read some books by hungarian authors, so they're (probably) not known by anyone here.
but right now i'm reading "legacy of blood" by richard a knaak. it's the first book in the diablo series. i started it because i want to read all of them again
the reason is clear: there's a new book in the series: http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Diab.../9781416550785
and i want to read all the other 8 books before this one. i've ordered it, and it's already on the shelf but i can't start it before rading through the others

sorry there are TWO new books in the series, but "book of cain" is not a novel so i don't consider it a diablo book. it's an album rather
Finished it! I actually enjoyed it near the end so my conclusion is that it is a good book. Now reading The Double and Poor Folk by the same author.

Cyropedia by Xenophon.
A Dance with Dragons - the fifth book from the song of fire and ice series by George R.R. Martin.
The series are loaded with politics, intrigues, violence and some sex and are masterfully written.
The second season (Game of Thrones) is on TV atm.
Kate Elliott's "Cold Magic". I'm not a great fan of hers as I don't really like her characters much, but I've only read this once unlike my other books which I've read too many times to count. It'll keep me going until I find something to read. I'm stuck at the moment waiting for Anne Bishop's "Bridge of Dreams" to make paperback, although J.R. Ward's "Lover Reborn" is now available so hopefully I can get that soon.
