@munder Why do you ask?
I can only hope to improve...
why does it have to be hidden behind those damn whatever those things are?
it's so retarded and takes fucking hours to carve through there if you're not playing with pets... additionally the number of those spike things there is so overkill that the game runs like a slideshow making it impossible to react to the insane damaget hat comes in if you (due to the choppiness) run in too far ._.
so frustrating
edit: aw man, the cherry on top of it is that the chest was full of crap :|
fml!

Woulda been fine if it didn't turn the game into a power point. But I feel your pain. Luckily, I had hunting so I could respec and get 2 second cooldown traps just for the chest (and it was totally worth it, got a sexy shield with 100% vitality resist).
Those blood spires are there for a reason.
The hidden chest is an easter egg, not anything crucial for game progression. You have to step through a bunch of blood spires before even getting there, so you already want to avoid them. All that helps hiding the chest, heck, I died the first time I tried and didn't want to bother trying again.
The easiest way to get there has got to be the Liche King. It's nearly immune to their damage type, and anything that soaks through it's resistances is going to be nullified by Wraith Shell.
Off topic, a shield with 100 vitality resist?
They were more then annoying enough to just progress through the Blood cave in the first place. Really, the problem with them (and cave as a whole I think) is that they are really biased towards a certain character type - ones with summons. The rest need to burn through a ton of potions just to get through it.
OT: Yeah, it's called "Premonition." It says it has 106% Life Leach resistance, but it is very much Vitality resist. I can roll through Empusas all day, and the Grey Sisters didn't even scratch me. It also has nice elemental resists. I think I will keep it on "W" switch for a long time after I find a more damaging shield.
lol, yeah, it's annoying. As vaxter stated, it's more of an easter egg. But, it does drop good loot from act 4. Even some of the yellow items it drops can boost your equipment beyond what you could find in Act 3. And, regardless of the loot it drops, you are rewarded 1 mythic recipe each difficulty level for finding it. So, even if it does take a long time, it's still faster than grinding for a mythic.![]()
