Very well then, I believe this conclusion would be a fair one to agree on: while there are people who pirate because of poorness there are also rich(over the medium salary) people who pirate because they want to. Piracy is not fair but we have to understand some are just forced to do it while others do it because they think they can do it.

I think this would be a fair conclusion we could agree on, don't you?

Unfortunately, there are probably more of the latter than there are of the former and that is what really annoys me, but I can agree that some people feel they are forced to by financial circumstances. Piracy isn't ever going to be stopped and there's not a lot either of us can do about it, except to exchange views and that's not what this blog is for anyway. Well, at least not primarily - it is the Titan Quest blog after all and that's what we should be commenting on.

Today saw me getting to the village of Xhidao (probably misspelled, sorry) in Act 3 on Epic with my Conqueror. I began the day a bit before getting to Memphis in Act 2 so I think that was very good progress. This is the second character to make it this far into the game, and all I really have to say is how strong the Conqueror seems compared to my Bow Brigand (first toon, currently level 65). I killed almost every boss I faced today within 5 seconds with just a green socketed veteran's club and some other greens accumulated throughout Normal and early Epic. I did twink 1 item but that was just a Hale Ring with 25% Strength and 13% damage. Just too good to pass up.

I can't really see myself dying until maybe either the Act 3 Telkine (that one attack that does massive damage always effs me up) or Typhon. Otherwise, I'm just looking to get out of Epic difficulty so I can start looking to complete my item build in Legendary with some (hopefully) green drops.

    Just a few thoughts:

-so the warfare tree has the skill that allows you to dodge physical attacks aka melee attacks, and then there's also the chance to avoid projectiles (range attacks). is it possible to dodge mob caster attacks? do they fall under projectiles?

-I just noticed this today, and this could be well known, but I thought I'd share it anyway. I've been going extremely fast through areas, mostly just because I can kill everything so fast and I don't enjoy epic difficulty too much. But basically if you shield charge into a group, but cancel it by clicking somewhere else besides whatever mob you targeted initially right before you come into contact with it, it won't cost any mana. I guess the mana cost is taken into account after you actually hit whatever mob you target. So I spent most of today zipping across the map without having to worry about mana because even though I didn't proc the damage on shield charge, I would usually proc Pulverize for aoe damage on the mob group within a hit or two, allowing me to clean up the groups very quickly. With these skill combos I was traveling and clearing the map EXTREMELY quickly.

This is what I'm working with right now: http://www.titancalc.com/TitanCalc.a...-2-0-0-0-6-1-0

You can dodge normal staff attacks, and some spells, but mostly not the ones with an area of effect.

Where did you get that ring? I does not sound like one you could find legit in the game.
There may be no 'I' in team, but there's a 'ME' if you look hard enough.

With the caster question, I meant more like...for the chance to dodge attacks, the way it works is that you could let any melee mob attack you, and sometimes even though they go through the melee animation, it won't hit because of the mechanic "Chance to dodge attacks". Same thing with ranged mobs attacking you if you have items/skills that give you chance to dodge projectiles. The animation can occur but you won't take damage from it because you have "dodged" it due to the proc. So basically what I was wondering is can you dodge basic attacks from caster with the chance to avoid projectiles mechanic? I'm assuming you can only avoid actual spells by dodging them manually.

And as for the ring, it's perfectly legitimate. I don't believe in item hacking because why what reason does it give for playing the game? It'd be boring and you would one shot every mob. The official name of the item is "Hale Chalcopryte Engraved Ring of Adroitness". It gives +25% strength, +11% health, and +33 dexterity. I mistyped before and accidentally wrote damage instead of health.

So it seems like some of the posters on this blog have their special items that they always seem to find. Irma, as I've noticed from his posts, seems to have great luck with SBC. Well, I think my item is the MI Sabertooth from Act 3. I played from just before reaching Chang'an through to the Jade Emperor and back through to Chang'an in Act 3 epic today. And I found, not one, not two, but THREE Sabertooths. Two of them were from tigermen standing right next to one another xD

That's what I meant by dodge, with the stat Chance to avoid projectiles you wont take damage from staff attacks or some spells.

Most people here do not enjoy hacked items, but occasionally someone will come show off there 'uber' character with relentless rings or something crazy like that. Then they act like superstars and we can all have a good laugh

A little late to the whole piracy thing, but I pirated this game before I ever bought it. I wanted to try the game out, and within the first 10 hours of playing it, I loved it and bought not only myself a copy, but my brother a copy as well.

I am pretty proud of myself. I started a conquerer probably mid July and told myself I was going to complete the game on all difficulties without any sort of cheats. Right now I have hit a brick wall and will have to be constantly farming to get the gear. I am level 54 stuck at Typhon, I just cant do near enough DPS to take him down before my colossal form times out and he one shots me. I decided to farm the Telkine right before him and after 20 runs, he has only dropped me 4 epics/legendaries and none of them are really workin for me.

How much point do yo have in triumph, try maxing it and fight typhon in the range of battle standard. Hamstring also helps to reduce DA. I think the better place to farm for gears for conqueror would be the act1 telkine, he drops warrior's panoply, the warrior's bracers are pretty good, u can use xmax mod he's easy to defeat. While ur at it farm for epic stonebinder's cuffs. I think a conqueror should spend some time farming epic act1, a legendary shield, the shield of the korybante, can drop there. It's a really powerful shield on epic. You can also get rhesus whitewashed armor. As for weapons go for green ones, except if you find thorny maul. Sapros only drops in legendary. As for your jewelry, socekt a couple with monkey king trickery. You can even socket ur weapon with shen nong, slower attack speed bonus or achilles of course. Act 2 telkine can drop murk crawlers, great pair of boots.

Are you in Epic or Legendary? An end game weapon to farm for is Sapros, reducing resistances works for physical and life leech resistances. You'll do more damage and heal more health back after the first hit.
The most popular spots to farm for it are Pholyphemus in Act 1 and Barmanu in Act 3.
