Anyone else found a snowball before?

Found this really strange blue item recently, I think it's a snowball. I couldn't figure out how to equip it, so I'm guessing it's actually an Easter egg. Does anyone have a clue?

Yep. It's a dual-wielded weapon, like a staff. So it uses both hands - try unequipping a shield/weapon and than equip it again. It's nice for a level 1 toon..

Snowball is classified as a Staff.
When you use Ternion Attack of Spirit Mastery, it launches 3 snowballs at the same time.

It's one of the best levelling items around!
With a new character with Storm mastery, I think you can use it for like 30 levels!

You can use it for 30 levels with any character. It's that useful.

i like using it with the Santa set, just looks sweet and deadly

I use the item with every new character. Don't forget the special attack that launches 5 snowballs and can take out entire mobs in one shot. The range is a set distance so a few practice shots and you can get the hang of it. Really good with xMax.

One more thing.. the *** skill it grants is actually Volcanic Orb from the Earth mastery. But unless you have a toon with Storm and Earth, you can't level up the volcanic orb. Still sweet to have, though

The skill's pretty sweet damage/multi-target wise, but it sucks in aiming. =P

And it's not VO, and skills granted by items can't be leveled or increased
