I expected to see something more interesting with the Steam offers. Heh, I guess these offers are reasonable prices, as Steam usually is pretty expensive...
The Battlefield 2 pack is a good deal... even though the games are a bit old now, they were pretty fun... not sure how vibrant their community still is for online play though...
All the others claim to be 50 - 75% off...
So I guess Steam probably is pretty expensive![]()

Mirror's Edge is actually interesting for that price, think I'm gonna get that.
Direct2Drive offers Mass Effect for $5,- today only
Sounds good as well
EDIT: Stupid worthless D2D regiocoding...
Well, if you did manage to pick up Mass Effect, you'll be ready for their comic book series they are releasing in January as well!
Nope, it was only for US and Canada
Oh well, I already got more than enough games...
with my experience with it, it is either a rip-off, or an unbeatable deal. basically, their "sales" are second to none. they usually have one every weekend, and on holidays.
Direct2Drive is also doing a game every day until christmas as a good deal. Today is mirrors edge for $4.95, if you missed the deal on steam. Ill try to post what game they are doing each day, as i will be looking anyway.
edit: I cant believe i missed that mass effect deal!! i played the crap out of it on 360, so the $20.00 price is just too steep. really wish i would have seen that...
Heh, didn't miss that one
On Steam it's Zeno Clash 66% off (4,08€)
EDIT; Gamersgate also has holiday offers, although I probably wouldn't play those titles for free. And although they say 20%-65% off, all discounts seem to be between 30%-55%. http://www.gamersgate.com/giftguide?filter=, for those who are interested...
Interesting to note that they offer Titan Quest Gold for the regular price of 9.99, I think it's the cheapest digital version.
Also wanted to note that D2D is doing a giveaway type deal, when you correctly identify where the picture is from, you are entered into a drawing where if you win, you get the game of your choice.
Details Here
I believe all you have to do is click on their "2o some odd days of christmas" The game on sale will be on top, and below will be the question.
On another note, be sure to d/l the demo of Zeno Clash. I can see why people would like it, but i personally thought it was terrible. The demo at least.![]()
