It seens that the mages have some sort of low-chance,proc-on-hit or skill,that instagibs half of my HP.And NO,its not Smiting(though i did find one on a mage that did it to me,only on one tho)

And here I am,in the Khantai Mountains 1 out of 3 cave,strolling around,roflzorpwning neanderthals.I am in a corner,with almost maxed HP aaaaanddd....its gone.In one second i am sent to the grave and back to the waypoint fountain.I mean Ive seen them do it on me already for like 2k dmg,but really?Thrice?And killing me instantly?WTF? AND NO,IT WASNT A STRAY TOXEUS.FUCK THIS SHIT.FUCK IT . HARD. *end of rant*

Completely untwinked but using potions. Hopefully I can find some better gear soon. Ill try and remember to take some pics if I make some progress without a really stupid death.

hey guys... got back to GW and started working on my HOM's 50/50... got tired of that so im gonna come back to this challenge once in a while... am going to update this opening thread post. Anyone currently in the challenge actively doing it give me a heads up and repost your progress after this.

Well I was planning on posting some pics and my progress but then I died because my computer sucks and froze up for a couple seconds while battling Fire Bull Yaoguai. Frozen, frozen, frozen, bam fire and and tombstone. I was so mad because I went back and and killed them easy when I am able to move and actually attack. Still mad I just continued and was rushing and killing and stupidly died to one those dragonian wyrm mages with its reflect shield that I didn't see. So I guess it was just a matter of time for my char to die. I'll probably just keep playing this character untwinked through legendary and farm like crazy before I try this challenge again with a super twinked char like everyone else.

sigh... I got on one night... tired from play 24/7 LoL and got on my Thane. Did the Tower of Judgement "Run." I forgot, that some Machae archers use a lot of "stun" bows there. Lost my Thane... at Epic Tower of Judgement. I swear that's the second time I attempted to play after a long time and killed a Hardcore Toon

Well, since that grueling semester I had is over, I've gotten a chance to play some Titan Quest again. Nothing really special has happened, my Templar has been progressing steadily (albeit slowly) through Act IV. The Gray Sisters and Charon were really easy, having a ritual medallion really helps in those fights. Machae archers are a pain, but luckily for me they drop with one Distort Reality/Temporal Rift...but that doesn't mean I don't want that Ritual Tortured Soul. She's currently parked in the first area of the Tower of Judgment, farming for that godly charm...if I manage to get the Ritual to drop, it'll be the first one I've ever completed. Of course, so far I've completed 4 charms and no dice...oh well, the grinding shall continue.

I'll post some screenshots the next time I play.

Frienza (Templar) - Level 49, Normal Tower of Judgment

So after farming from level 49 to level 52, a Ritual Tortured Soul finally managed to come my way. It only took 37 charms...bleh. Upon going back to the Plains of Judgment, I went to the Blacksmith and he had a Veteran's Suit of Discipline. I didn't want to take the hit to my elemental resistances, but with 10% Damage Resistance, +20% Defensive Ability, and +20% Chance to Avoid Projectiles, I couldn't pass it up. So for now, the Prowler's Cuirass will sit in my inventory until I actually need the resistances.

Needless to say, I steamrolled through the Tower of Judgment. I pulled out some special equipment for Cerberus, so he was no challenge whatsoever. Incoming Screenshot dump for accomplishments.







Frienza - Untwinked Level 52 Templar, Normal Elysium

Just plowed through Elysium and the Fields of the Diadochi and sent Undead Typhon back from whence he came.



Used a Scroll of the Sky's Rage, since people keep giving them to me (in fact, Persephone gave me 3 more for saving her...), so that's why there's a random lightning bolt.

Some really good drops from the chest too, first ever Heron's Gear to drop for me. Quite a fun shield, I love some of the animations that Immortal Throne items have.



Hopefully this is the home stretch for Normal difficulty, I'm still worried about Hades' Generals, random Dactyls, and Hades himself. I have really good armor and decent resists, but I still get the feeling I can die really easily. Hopefully 75% Vitality resistance is enough...

Just completed normal difficulty. The Hades triplets weren't hard at all...well. Okay, their first couple forms weren't hard at all. When I got all 3 to their final form, I had to kite with phantom strike and other skills and use potions a lot. But they still went down. No Overlord, though, so I need to farm until I get one...and then Toxeus awaits.





Also my Shard of Erebus charm got an exp bonus! So I slapped that right in my Ceremonial help so I have a total of +19% experience for when I collect quest rewards.
