I personally feel that this would be a useful little feature, especially if you are farming for MIs.
What do you guys think?

I agree, 100%. Not sure if it's possible, but I would love it. I think this may require editing some rarity values or something.
Couldn't agree more as I never pick up "yellow" items. Glad somebody brought it up, though I'm sure it has been mentioned before.

If it isn't otherwise possible, change the 'no filter' to 'filter broken', 'filter broken' to 'filter normal' and 'filter normal' to 'filter magical'. Who picks up the broken stuff even at start? You get enough normal items for your needs. Broken items are worthless.
I do, sometimes. On Xmax challenges and live off the land challenges, you need to rely on gear you find, and some characters who have low dexterity need broken bows.
Surely there are more out there that feel a green (and above item) filter would be fantastic. Surely somebody knows a way to achieve this? I've been hoping for this for years : )

Yea even if this feature isn't going to make it into a patch, can anyone tell us if this can be done with the art manager?
There is a probably a crude way to do this - by changing all "yellow" affixes to non-magical under itemclassification - but that is too tedious and is not an ideal solution.
Any experts who can point us the way? Or is it impossible?
@silverbeat - surely there are more out there. But a good portion of those people prolly don't even play the game or frequent this site anymore..![]()
Anyone had any luck with this? Its excruciating to sort through loot on Uber mod.
While I am pretty sure that the artmanager/dbrs do not enable you to change the key-filter from say yellow and above to green and above. I have successfully modded the game so that all yellows are white, which does about the same thing in the long run.
To do this, I had to change every affix (suffix and prefix) so that instead of endowing an item with the "Magical" label (yellow), they become labeled as "Common".
So then even dual affixed items stay white and with the key-filter you only see greens, blues, and purples.
A downside to this is that jewelery becomes much less frequent. And when you hear a ring drop you are forced to wade through the sea of whites to find it.
What if you change every 'white' (normal) object to 'grey' (broken) and every 'yellow' (magical) item you don't like to 'white' and keep the ones you do like. If that would be possible, you will end up with filtering those items you do like from the garbage.
Does anyone know if this is possible or if there's another solution?
