    Player's Time Charts

I should have done this in excel, but drawing out the graph myself was somewhat entertaining, not to mention it makes things much more visible to compare time constraints and the like.

    Enjoy.

As I said, the time zones really screw things over, so I'm gonna have to go with Computertech's suggestion of using excel with changeable parameters for time zones.

That's a good idea. A plan like the above, set in one timezone, and a converter tool (like this) next to it.

The only problems that remain are day borders, if you want to make one sheet for each day, and summer time.

OTOH I presume that most people have similar available/maybe times during the week, and a big maybe at weekends, and the entire thing will never be accurate.
So we might as well start with one "weekday plan" with rough times to get a general idea.

Pretty cool, I wish my schedule was more predictable but alas... I would say I'm available more often then not but its at random times.

It's pretty safe to say I am not available between 2:00 AM and 8:00 Am each day but other than that I got nothing.

I'd suggest we use GMT without summer time. Not because it's the convention, but I just realized that this board itself reminds you of your current distance to it at the bottom of each page.
All times are GMT +2. The time now is 11:12 AM.
And if you log out, all times are here are converted to it.

What do you mean without summer time? I have a working chart that converts players' times to whatever zone you choose in OfficeCalc(thanks to computertech's help), as soon as I get more time periods from people I'll post up the file.

I'd like to add my schedule in, whenever you're ready to make a new chart.

Go ahead and post it, or send it to me via steam or PM. I'll update it as time goes on. It's not a big deal for me to update it.

Summer time is basically where in May or sometime around then, the clocks go forward 1hr and then in October or sometime they go back 1hr. This rule applies at 2AM, so it goes 1:59AM-3AM, or 1:59-1AM and so on. I don't know why this is done, I think it's to do with farmers ().

Violos, are you GMT or where are you from?

It was a war thing I think.
And I'm from Germany, currently GMT +2.

I would not consider summer time because, like you said, it changes. This may even happen at different dates in different countries, not sure about that. GMT is the best "fixed" reference imo.

Not that it would concern me much because as you may have noticed, I am not spending much time on this game atm. Just wanted to say hello, and that I'm still out here (sorry Mulder).

    Re: Player's Time Charts

germany is gmt+1 to be honest, like it is for me, holland. england has gmt, holland france germany has gmt+1 russia has gmt+2(moscow and sint petersburg)

and the summer time was made for well so that people could enjoy more of the summer and sun. since farmers don't think about time in the earlier days.
in war time is not that important for summer or winter time either.

well for my schedule (i got fanpatch) i'm online on monday evening, wednesday thursday, sometimes friday and ofcourse i can be online in weekends. (all days are not always online, since sometimes i got some other stuff to do)
