Hi guys im making an ice shard storm as 1st mastery and with what mastery i should go for 2nd between spirit,dream,nature for max damage? Im plainning on go for fast speed ice shard,max +%cold damage,and some -%mana cost if possible and so i whant to know what increase speed of ice shard, except synergy, attack speed or casting speed? Thanks.
I've got this same build at level 42, and it's very efficient. Essentially a glass cannon. something like -60% recharge, -100% mana cost, 300% cast speed... when I throw down a squall and start shooting my ice, no one can get through. Maybe a boss, but I don't know. I'm on Act3 in Epic and it only gets easier so far. Cast speed determines the speed of ice shards, so whatever you can get your hands on that gives +cast speed( I think all the magi stuff from act 1 gives it)
Dream will be your best bet because of its amazing stopping power. Distortion Wave, Distort Reality, and Sleep will all augment your ability to survive in dire situations when you're outnumbered or surrounded. (their synergies will help as well, except sleep which doesn't have one.) Not to mention ToC, which will increase your mana regeneration... if you need it, as well as absorb damage.
Nature is also very handy: you got those dogs ahead, and you rip the mobs with shards apart, while Plague slows and weakens them greatly.

You have to link the code on the bottom. The one that says something with 0-0-2-6-0 etc numbers that represent your build in the end of the link.
If you're having trouble with archers, mages, and bosses, max squall first. Squall has that impaired aim bonus that makes it impossible for ranged fighters to hit you, as well as the resistance reductions to help kill bosses. If you're fine on that, torrent and heart of frost are good.
I think you'd probably be better off maxing torrent first, because the +3 projectiles(I think it's 3) are a considerable help, and speed up the rate at which you can kill stuff. Then again, most of Normal mode monsters can be one shotted by a maxed squall(along with some +lightning damage from static charge and items)
ok so now i increase squall as far as i can kill easily monsters with it. and about sinergy of squall? It is useful in normal mode?

The synergy to squall is also quite useful. I'd max that too when you get the points. It increases your damage output as well as reduces your enemies' output. Ranged fighters already get it bad from the 100% impaired aim, but with the synergy, anyone caught in the squall will deal less damage.
but a chain light -100% recharge is more devastate?
Ohhh yes. -100% recharge, maxed Lightning blast and chain will be way more devastating, no doubt.
