    The Dresden Files

Has anyone read this series of books? This is definitely my favorite. It always makes me chuckle at the beginning of every book with the, "I'm the only wizard in the phone-book." I must say that Bob (you know, the perverted air spirit that lives in a skull) is my favorite character as well. Then, the stuff that isn't funny is very interesting and makes you think sometimes. Oh and if anyone has read the most recent book, please tell me what you think of it.

never heard of it before, but i checked out the wiki. sounds kinda like 'supernatural' (as far as blending many different supernatural beasties with a bit of humor) with a bit of a magic twist. i might have to check this series out.

please tell me its not kid/young adult style writing though. im assuming its not since sci-fi made a tv series out of it.

    Yeah, it's no Harry Potter.

The Dresden Files is definately adult writing, though not supernatural porn like the Anita Blake series turned into. If you like somewhat gritty fantasy work, it's a very good series to read.

The latest book, Turn Coat, I read two or three weeks ago. It's a good book, but I must admit I am somewhat disappointed in how Morgan comes out at the end of the book. I thought Morgan made a great ******* on the side of the good guys, because he clearly was one of the good guys.
