I'd say Knot Of Isis if you're goin' for 100% CtAP,but you didn't stated what kind of Haruspex are you playing? Bow,Spear,DOT,Mickey Mouse? BTW the Mickey part was a joke

CtAP is Chance to Avoid Projectiles, it is very easy to achieve 100% with Haruspex (Find Cover & Temporal Flux) and together with high Defensive Ability (Wood Lore & Premonition) you have the so called "Immortal Haruspex" build

@Plutoburn - What can be more better for soloing then being Immortal? No projectile can hit you, no melee can hurt you. There are plenty of items that can boost your damage. You have on the first page almost entire guide for items & skills,I believe.
You asked for artifact and I said Knot Of Isis for getting 100% CtAP. I also gave you link to Gamebanshee to search for artifact of your own liking. You can use Blood Of Ares Or Morpheus Dreamweb for high damage boost,you can use Talisman Of The Jade Emperor for -%recharge and high elemental resistance.
I really don't know what more to say, can't you deduce on your own what is good for your play style?

I've never had a character past level 32, this is my third character, first for immortal throne, so looking at these number and high end equipment on paper just means a bunch of numbers to me, thus still quite abstract.

I appreciate the specific suggestions you've made in your last paragraph because that's what I was looking for, different artifact for different scenario. As for shying away from immortal, well... I can't help but draw the connection to the elite army of Xerxes which is not what I like to be part of. Jokes aside, I was simply concerned about immortal's ability to dish out damage since in most games for balance sake, the best tanks tend to be quite weak in offense, and don't make for good soloing class.

I think I'll be able to determine these things once I play more character and start to find patterns, until then, these forum continue to be of great resources for newbies like me.

I understand what you mean by "bunch of numbers",you'll get that eventually
Immortal Haruspex isn't tank actually (or is by some definition),he doesn't absorb damage,he completely avoids it. And it's easy to achieve,that is the entire catch.

What is the best artifact for mid and end game haruspex?

I still use Blood Gem because of its piercing damage buffs, +1 to all Hunting skills and the chance to stun enemies but the other suggestions are good to though I personally wouldn't use Morpheus' Dreamweb because it doesn't do much other than buff damage (which is good of course).

Also, note that OA is useless when using missile weapons.
