gem mod idea

possible to add gems into the game like relics and charms?

example:

chipped ruby gem
+1 strength

perfect ruby gem
+5 strength

5 chipped = 1 perfect

and new icons would be nice too.

possible?

Yeah, I guess it could be done.

Although I don't see the point really, cause there are already a lot of different relics, which, at least for me, covered all my needs.

Maybe if the gems were weaker, with no completion bonus but able to socket Epic and Legendary gear.

You would have to add it to the loot list etc. Too much work imho.
