What does it matter? You can get the "source" easily. Grab arzextractor, open up the database folder in your tq installation folder, open the database.arz with the extractor, extract, and dump the contents into a mod folder. Viola, now you can mod it.

Pretty much exactly how the modders created the fanpatch.

I have a few questions

1. i have the gametap version( which is titan quest gold) can i still install it?
2.Do you need the other patches to get the latest one?

1.Does this patch work when u dont have the expansion IT ?
2.If i play with friends do they need to install the patch too for them to be able to play with me
3.online play is still possible ? XD

Greetings. My first post here.
I myself have been the leader of a fanpatch project on another game (age of mythology), so this kinda got my attention, dear fellow patchers.
I was wondering about one thing here - looking at comments everyone appreciates what you're doing - : did you negotiate with distributors of the game, like Steam, to include your bugfix patch in their download?
I believe it would be a great step and largely welcomed by everyone.

Hi IamNaka and welcome to the forums

well, the members of the original Fanpatch-team have been inactive for quite some time, so I don't think you'll get an answer from them. I don't think Steam would consider shipping the Fanpatch as it is community made and they therefore can't offer support for it. Even more so, because Steam and TQ don't always work that well together.

There's a fanpatch for that one? I suppose I'll have to have a look for that. I really liked that game back when I was actively playing it

So the rebalance project on here is over?
I am using the bugfix patch currently, and it is really enjoyable. A lot of bugs I remember from before are gone, which is great.

I don't see a problem between Steam and TQ, it went super easily for me. Then again some systems may cause trouble and Zeus knows how many variables there could be.

I wouldn't say over, but rather fallen inactive. I'm doing some fixing of what's left, but that's all there is.
