How about a Triumphant Stygian Shield so you can block 100% of the time and ignore most of the resistances?

Sorry dude, I was actually replying on the reflectionist concept not the reflective gear per item, had not really read all the posts..

The most I did was 225% permanent on 4 items slots plus skills. Hades at most is dealing himself close to 7K from his second form. Gigantes and manchaes around 3K and Dactyl needs 3-4 hits to kill itself if you manage to stay alive. 225% will work in Xmax in some places and some bosses. I think 200% will do but you need to carry a lot of gears/artifacs for the DOT resistances to drain/leeches, bleed and poisons since these are the killers for this build.

Good Luck though, I actually did not play as pure reflectionist like your character.

I read that DA doesn't reduce the damage you take, but the damage the monsters deal. So high DA would mean a poor melee reflection. Did you guys (Poinas, Maul) observe this effect?

Grab yourself some Gauntlets of Atlas (or maybe could a dream/earth or defence/earth combo work?) and you've got stone form. Get as much -recharge time stuff on as you can for stone form, and you can literally wade into a battle, stone form, while everything dies around you.

sorry for posting in this old thread, but I tested the gauntlets of atlas and it works the way qesidus thought im gonna play my templar a lot more now and try this build.
since stone form has a 24 sec recharge -75% recharge will be enough to perma-stone skin and kick some ***

    Digging up an old thread..

    Finally finished with this one.

    Total damage reflecton: 164%
    With Rally: 239%

It was quite effective all the way through to Hades. Rally, Quick Recovery and Distortion Field all helped tremendously to keep me alive. 45 deaths isn't that bad considering this was a lazy man's build.

I got to say that Distortion Field at 11/8 is amazing when it triggers. Even normal machae archers have hard time doing significant damage.

I love this thread, it inspired me to make my own Reflectomancer and it sure is hilarious. I find it really helpful because now my Templar can just smash melee foes and by time they are all dead every archer and mage has already dropped dead, I hate running after Machae archers all the time. lol
Meat Puppet has 129% damage reflection at the moment before using rally which pops it up to 189% good times in xmax monsters :-D
