Bugged Boss?

So, we fought Charon for the first time last night...turns out those waterspouts are instant death for my caster. Which I'm okay with.

What I'm NOT okay with is the fact that I kept dying at the rebirth fountain from those water droplet-bombs he uses. Half the time I couldn't even cast my wisp, drop a portal (partner dropped one on his end) and then pop storm nimbus before I was toast.

The couple times I DID make it back thru the portal I was already at less than 50% health, so needless to say I didn't last long.

Is this a bug anyone else has experienced?...Surely it -is- a bug?

It sounds like you are using the Rebirth Fountain which you should reach AFTER you kill him - or are the droplets teleporting with you back to the one near the ant colonies?

If the former, I think it's a stretch calling that a bug considering you shouldn't be there unless Charon is dead already.

If the latter, that's wierd and buggy, but if the area around you is cleared out, you should be able to just run away until the droplets stop.

Nope, it's the fountain before I get to him with all the ant guys. More than just the last droplet that was about to hit me before I died kept raining down -- even moving from the spot I rebirth at, they still followed me around and kept hitting me.

Alright. Guess this isn't widespread enough to be a major worry or require a fix -- but I'm not gonna try to farm him all the same. :B

Weird, I died there loads of times and didn't notice anything but that was single player.

The weird thing on Charon for me is that when I died and then made my way back to him from rebirth fountain the water wall didn't drop for me to go and fight him. In fact only the last time I died it went down, but all the other times it didn't.
Never had the bug you're talking about though. That must've really sucked.

did you try clicking the water? it acts like a door

Yeah I did. I thought it would open up like the crystal wall would with Hades, but it didn't.

What I find annoying is he doesn't spawn if you get onto the bridge from that rebirth fountain right there. No fair!
