    Farming Unique Items - by Location & Act

    This is an Excel Spreadsheet originally post by Arminia on the German Titan Quest HQ-Tempel Forum (view thread)

    I saw it refrenced several times on TitanQuest.net, but always with the warning "it's only in German, not English"

    So, after getting permission from Arminia, I decided to translate it to English and post it on TitanQuest.net

    The English names for the items came from the Titan Quest @ Gamebanshee database

    Basically it shows where each unique item can be dropped by Act and Difficulty level

    For example: Hoarfrost (Epic Staff)

    find Hoarfrost in the Name Column, and it shows that it can be dropped in Epic Difficulty, Acts 1 & 3, or in Legendary Difficulty, Acts 1 & 3

    with this, maybe it will be a little easier to farm those missing items.

    Thanks a lot!

    Now all that's missing is a search function for all item statistics in the gamebanshee database (or somewhere else), like "reduces energy cost".

    Nice, now I know wether stuff drops in Epic or not, always bothered me. No more!

    I don't understand some of the notations (the colored bits, the places where percentages are listed) but this is still a wonderful resource. Thanks.

    Those colored items are the 13 uniques that drop with randomized affixes and are not part of the standard-loottable of their act. So here monsters and chests do not directly reference to the loottable, but to a mastertable. This mastertable then says x% for the randomized item, 100%-x% for the standard-loottable, and you would find the x% in the list.

    Example: look at rings act3 normal. If a unique item drops (no matter if from monster or from chest), there is a 10% chance to drop Jadeloop, and a 90% chance to drop any item from the loottable itself (with it's 5 rings), so in total you have 10% for Jadeloop and 18% for any of the other rings.

    Thanks for the translation, very useful!

    A quick question: I guess we should not interpret all the "1" as weights, right? For instance Aeon and Pendant of immortal rage are not equally likely to drop.
