...sorry if I sound like an idiot... I am new to this game. I want to do something with earth. I want to be a caster. I want to be able to own everything... or at least do really good. I was thinking a conjurer, but I don't know. Please help!
If you start with Earth, go with Volcanig Orb and Ring of Flame. You'll be owning everything in the beginning. Later you can spec out of RoF.

If you're going pure caster, yes, minus a few points in Dex to meet your armor reqs. Int is what ups your elemental damage.
At I believe Poinas' suggestion, I started reserving about 8 attribute points so that if I found armor I couldn't meet the reqs for at the time, I could pump whatever stat I needed to and wear it asap.
I haven't really felt the lack of points, and it is really nice to be able to immediately equip armor you find.
I wouldn't put Dex in ahead of time tho -- only when you find armor you want to wear that you need it for. Just my two cents.

Can I reset my skills?
Skills yes, for a certain amount of gold (I find by Act IV I have way more gold than I'm likely to spend anyhow). You have to reach...Delphi I think has the first person who can un-train skills?
You can't switch attribute points tho, unless you want to get into downloading mods that'll let you do that.

I heard that Earth/Storm is the purest caster. I would really like to do that. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can you guys provide a good build? Please and thank you!
