    Consultation about system specs

First, hi again to everyone i was long time away because I lost passion for TQIT. Here i am again and I'm kinda confused about something.
Just ran into SystemRequirementsLab website and tried how would my computer perform on the game. I passed even the Recommened with my machine : Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2,2Ghz, GeForce 7600GS 256MB, 2GB RAM Super Talent which i guess would be quite enough for the game. I wasnt such a hungry bastard for cool textures before so i didnt pay attention to the Graphic Settings of the game. Now i tried settings every to Max as the site suggests but what do i see? Tons and tons of pure lag. Owned... I expected better handling but i get only 20 fps with those settings. I usually keep my nVidia drivers at 16X antitroping and 8xS anti-aliasing but now i left them Application Controlled for better performance and still ...
Now i play on all Medium with No Shadows, No Triple Buffering, no Advanced Effects on 1280x1024 with AA [ON].
Am I doing something wrong or my computer just cant handle the game at full specs? (for example i pla Doom 3 on Very High, 1280x1024 8xAA). I never knew Titan Quest is so heavy o.O

    Re: Consultation about system specs

There are some issues with the Expansion that cause the game to lag more than it should on certain systems and especially in certain places. Iron Lore has gone bankrupt, and THQ didn't want to fund any patches..

Otherwise, I wouldn't know. I don't think I have a really great system (although I couldn't say what specs I have as I have little understanding of that stuff), but I can play the game with everything on high and all options checked. Only very few times I will lower shadows to medium, but that's it.. ;/

fnatic, try the default graphics settings but set Shadows and Reflections to Low. Keep Detail and Textures to High.

My PC is somewhat like yours and IT works and looks great with these settings. I do get lag in certain situations but rarely.
