Titan Quest Gold bug - Invalid CD Keys for multiplayer -FIXED

i have a problem of a diff sort. when i play TQ as soon as I kill the first boss satr it crashes the game to a reboot. i thought that it was the steam version so I bought the gold cd and low and behold same problem. then i tried the immortal throne and it appears to work but i cant pick up an item unless I use the (alt) key. so it seems that i am skrewed can anyone help? system specs(pentium E5200,6gb ram,nvidia gforce 9400 gt, total graphic memory 3839 mb. win vista ultimate 64.) at this point i know not what to attempt. Is anyone else having similar problem?

The Alt lock for picking up items is a setting you can turn on and off in the options screen. If you turn it off you will see all of the items on the ground and you will be able to pick them up. It can be annoying though, like when you want to click on a monster and you accidentally pick up the broken sword of crappiness instead. That's why it's on by default

I'm having problems too. I bought both games a couple of years ago and had them on my computer and it was working fine, but then i installed them on a different computer and whenever i try playing online it says "invalid CD key". Can anyone help?

I bought my game at zellers in Canada and i dont get an invalid CD Key The game just hangs when i click on refresh to join a online game. Im running Windows 7 and the game runs not to bad . some glitches now and then

Hi All,

1. Apparently it's been a while since anyone has reported a problem, but i can assure you that the issue is not 100% fixed. i'm currently enjoying a new copy of TQ:IT (Gold Edition) single-player only. If there is any way to "validate" my CD key or otherwise fix the problem i would greatly appreciate the help.

2. My brother and i have been playing off of the same retail copy. Would it be possible for us to play multiplayer online with the CD key (assuming it works properly)? Probably a silly question, but i figured i'd ask...

I know it's been 11 months since you posted and I don't see a reply . You should be able to play via LAN either within your own network or via Hamachi or Gameranger or any other VPN software. Also posting incase others come along and wondering the same thing.

I'm having the same issue, and I've more or less given up on a solution, unless anyone has any new groundbreaking information that can help fix this?

I just received this game via THQ Humble Bundle. The game is on steam, and I cannot get Multiplayer to work. Could really use some help. Really want to play this game with my friends who also got it.

Got the same problem as Favorlock, just got it humble bundled and multiplayer gives me and my friend both an invalid cd key error.
