Thread: Warfare FAQ for newbies

  1. #61
Thank you kindly, I suspected you would be the one to respond

As you can tell I'm a long time lurker, and this is my 2nd post. That speaks volumes to the quality of the folks giving advice here. This was the first question I didn't find an answer to myself. I bought the game as a platinum edition ( both games in one package ) but am just now getting around to playing it. So far, love it.

Sorry, this sounds totally bizarre, but I cannot seem to figure out how to dual wield! I just started out, wanted to try a Warrior, and cannot find a way to put a weapon into both slots, it won't let me. If I have a weapon equipped, I cannot put a weapon in my other slot, only a shield. What am I not understanding?
    thank you

You need (at least) one skill point in dual wield...........

I see. Shame on me for not understanding that. Then the "12% chance to activate" means I will only be hitting with the offhand weapon 12% of the time?

Hit with dual wield: 44% chance for the main hand to hit, 44% chance for the offhand to hit, and a 12% chance to hit with both? Don't quote me on this, but iirc that was the math behind it.

One point in dual wield means you can equip two weapons and swing either one of them (random). 12% of the time you use both weapons simultaneous.

Oh, ok, thank you. That seems ... underwhelming. So I am not attacking twice as fast or twice as often than with one weapon, but rather only 12% of the time.....

until you put more points in the skill. then the rest of the tree gives you additional attacks and targets (increasing DPS), extra damage (more DPS), and a stun effect. with good attack speed, you get to the point where one of them is proccing practically all the time. it's a very effective tree.

I have a question. The game says that 'The Warrior excels at dealing out physical damage'. Does that include all hand to hand weapons? (swords, axes, clubs, spears, etc)

    Thanks alot.

means any weapon because of warefare's skill onslaught and its synergies greatly boost your damage
most of warefares skills directly benefit your weapon damage, weapon training onslaught and synergies dual wield battle standard, they all directly boost your physical damage with all weapons (daul wield and weapon training only work on swords clubs and axes)
