    caster prophet build

    question questions so many questions

    here is my current build:
TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Prophet

and this is my planned lvl 60 build:
TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Prophet

    suggestions?

Also why does everyone think Squall is so good? It doesn't do much damage and melee bosses always ignore any pets I have and run right to my caster. So unless I drop Squall right on him once he starts thumping on me it doesn't do a dang thing.

And why does everyone seem to drop Distortion Wave, it does good damage and the recharge is fast compared to distort Reality.

It's not the damage that makes Squall so good:
"100% Chance of Impaired Aim for 1 Seconds" -Archers and Casters miss always
"30% Reduced Damage for 6 Seconds" -Melee mobs don't hit as hard
"30% Reduced Resistance for 6 Seconds" -You do more damage

Haven't tried Lightning Bolt along with Distortion Wave but it could work. Use DW for slow, cast LB, run away, repeat...

    Some "must-haves":

    Spell Breaker/Spell Shock, Max/Max
Apply Squall first and watch the (Legendary) bosses go down like the pansies they are.

Summon Wisp/Eye of the Storm, 5/Max
At level 5 the Wisp gets a nice stunning ability and Eye of the Storm boosts your Elemental Damage significantly.

    Squall/Obscured Visibility, Max/Max
    See above.

    Storm Nimbus/Heart of Frost/Static Charge, Max/Max/Max
If you're using only Lightning Damage, leave out Heart of Frost. If you're using only Cold Damage, leave out Static Charge.

    Trance of Convalescense, Max
Best Caster trance thanks to the Energy regen (opinion, not fact ).

    Lucid Dream/Premonition/Temporal Flux, Max/-/Max
If you're going to use some Electrical Burn spells, max Lucid Dream. If not, leave it at one point.
Premonition isn't helpful for a caster. You get some extra DA but you'll likely not have enough base DA to make that increase noticeable.

    Distort Reality/Temporal Flux, 1/Max
Life-saver, works like a reversed Stone Form. You get this for the Petrify effect.

    Optional: Nightmare/Hypnotic Gaze/Master Mind, 5/1/-
Get it for it's confuse effect if you feel like you need some help.
    Steel and Blood,

My caster is now in act 4 normal.. Had major trouble with Typhon, but some hand-me-down gear from my 51 Spellbreaker helped even things up a bit
