Hi I'm New and Have Stat Point Questions

So I should probably preface my question by giving some background information. I went ahead and beat the game and expansion using a Warlock. He was mellee and primarily a rogue who used poisons, slows, and bleeds; my theme was damage over time. For the spirit tree I just used the auras, as well as trying my hand at the chain-life drain attack (forgot what it was called). Anyway, he worked quite well for the most part. I died often but killed fast, and did really well against bosses - even Typhon was quite easy, I died like once or twice and wasn't even level 30.

But I really sucked against undead, and got tired of potion chugging, so decided to make a tank that didn't need many potions and didn't relie on poison since it didn't work against everyone.

I made a juggernaut, which I'm pleased with. He uses the adrenaline and rally tree, all the passives, quick recovery, a little bit of charge and batter, and will eventually use auras when I have more energy. For earth he uses the enchant weapon tree, ring of flame tree, and stone form. I was hesitant to max stone form and adrenaline since the regeneration would probably not be much later on, but decided to do it anyway since I use rally (+150% regen) and hate the idea of relying on potions. If it were up to me, potions would have a huge cooldown. Too bad, right?

So my questions are about stat point distribution.

    1. Aside from it being used for items, how much does strength help? My original plan was to have just enough strength for gear. I use armor handling and use swords for attack speed (fire and shield procs), so I don't need much. Should I have extra anyway? What if I get a lot from item bonuses, then when the items become obsolete I can't use anything else because of a lack of strength? Then I'm stuck.
So how much does excess strength help, and do I need to be careful not to have too little in case I become permanently deprived of good gear later on?

    2. Should I put any points in energy, intelligence, and health? So far, hp hasn't been a problem, but I also haven't been playing online. I did for the first time and it was sort of a problem, but that might just be because my gear sucks. I'm really not sure though. As far as energy and intelligence, I assume that later on it won't be an issue because of items. I've put only a few points into these categories, because it seems like more could be waste by late game. My goal is to still be able to regenerate over time. Ultimately, I will lose 5 energy a second. Is this feasable? Is it worth investing into intelligence?

So lastly, knowing what you know of my build, how would you distribute attribute points? Keep in mind, all I care about is the late game and would eventually like to start more online gaming.
So if you had maybe 20 points where would they go?

I would recommend a strength of 550 and a dexterity of either 385 or 145. If you are planning on using legendary stonebinder's cuffs, you will need a dexterity of 385. If you cannot afford that much dexterity, at least get 145 in order to use most legendary clubs (such as Thorny Maul, Sapros the Corrupter, and Hand of Hephaestus). I would not recommend putting any points in energy or health. INT helps only marginally on energy regeneration (100 points of INT increases your energy regeneration rate by one point per second).

If you max Armor Handling you'll only need 440 STR...

    And welcome, hello and stuff...
    Steel and Blood,
    The Sacrifice of Ancient Gods
