I have two favourite rings early game that I'd not live without:
Adroit Loop and Ring of the Shang.
Seal of the High Pliest (Veto Corneleevoos) used to have -% recharge on it before like 1.x5 (I think).
It really depends on your build. I used to run around with the highest % intelligence mods on a green ring for giggles on my Trance of Wrath Diviner. I think I might have capped out at like 4000 - 5000 legit intelligence. All to see if it was viable legendary.
