i have a level 47 battlemage and i recently have gone to the mystic and traded dual wielding for other skills such as war horn,fissure, and volativity. i play LAN with a bow wielding Warden so i was thinkin the shield would help with me tanking. my dps dropped a good amount but im wayyy tougher now. was switching a good idea?
Well, its better to stay alive and kill a bit slower than wasting all the time on running to get your dead body. Specially since you're playing in a party.
It's good to find a balance. You also don't want nibbling your way through one boss for half an hour, do you?
